One more thrift store jacket brought back to life!
Introducing the Coral Denim Jacket with hand painted Mola-Style Sleeves – Upcycled, One of a Kind Women’s Artwear, a piece that proves fashion and fine art can absolutely share a closet. What started as a gently loved 100% cotton coral denim jacket has been transformed into a bold, one-of-a-kind statement piece bursting with color, creativity, and personality.

The Making of a Statement
Every detail began with the hunt — finding that perfectly worn-in denim that still had stories left to tell. Once the right jacket surfaced, the design process kicked off: I created a sketch inspired by vibrant Mola motifs, those intricate, layered textile patterns traditionally crafted by the Guna people of Panama. From there, the sketch became a pattern, and the pattern came alive with fabric paint — layered, blended, and built up until the sleeves bloomed with rich cornflower blue, safflower, and white florals.
Royal blue faux stitching and 3D bursts of bright yellow flourishes were added to make sure this jacket doesn’t just hang in your closet — it struts.
To finish, the paint was heatsealed into the fabric fibers so this beauty stays as vivid as your imagination.
Wearable Art with a Wink
Throw this jacket on with your favorite jeans for a fearless double-denim power move, or toss it over a sundress to make boho go bold. Whether you’re walking into brunch or breezing through a gallery opening, this jacket speaks fluent confidence.
Because when artwear meets attitude, something magical happens — and it looks a lot like coral denim.
