A sketch is made using a reference photo or digital combo of photos. After reviewing, the sketch is finalized based on your feedback. The portrait is created and a proof is sent via email.
Deliver
Final refinements are worked-out and the portrait is allowed to dry before shipping.
Fade-Away Portraits
Fade Away portraits are inspired by one of my long-time favorite illustrators, Coles Phillips. His style called, The Fade-Away Technique, plays tricks with the unpainted areas. The absence of time specific clothing makes for an enduring portrait. A great way to keep future generations from mocking an outfit that was darling…in its day! Fade Away portraits are painted, scanned, and delivered as a digital file with your choice of background color.
